What is Dental dam?

Dental dam, a little latex sheet sized 25x15 cm, used as a barrier between anus or vagina and the mouth, is arrived in Italy too. Put together with condom, the only instrument of prevention against sexually transmitted diseases, Dental Dam is becoming the most popular instrument of sexual safety. It has different colours and flavours (vanilla, strawberry, cola, and soft fruits) and it is extremely effective for the prevention of infections that come from anal or vagina secretions.
Like condom, to guarantee its integrity and safety, we need to be carefull with nails and rings and we have to be sure that it hasn’t holes or breakings. You can control Dam before the use, keeping it into the light, or verifying if water passes through it.
Even if it seems to be a little awkward, dental dam is very simple to use. It can be keep by the partner that is using it, so who receive it can relax himself or it can be keep from the partner who receive it so the partner that is using it can have the hands free to make other stimulations.
You can choose to apply a lubricant, water-based naturally, on vagina or on the anus before using it. The lubricant can help to increase the sensations for your partner.  
When you use the Dam, make sure to use it only from a side. Don’t use Dental Dam on different body parts (for example from anus to vagina or vice versa) because you could transmit germs from a zone to another (at the expense of your partner). It is a throwaway product.

Many people think that the use of Dental Dam reduces the sensibility in the oral sex. It’s not like that! The sensation with Dental Dam is different from the sensation with tongue but this isn’t necessary a bad thing.
