Does a risk of infection exist during a single unprotected sexual intercourse?
Yes. If the partner is seropositive, an intercourse can be enough. In case of sexual intercourses with a new partner is then necessary the use of condom. It is important, moreover, to talk with partner about occasional unprotected intercourses or those in which condom went broken. Not doing in this way and continuing to have sexual intercourses with him/her means put him or her at risk.
Does a risk of infection exist for whom live a solid couple intercourse?
It exists if one of partners has unprotected sexual intercourses with other persons. In this case it is important to tell him/her about it, to make Hiv test and if you want to continue in having intercourses with him/her, to follow the safer sex rules until the arrive of a certain response (three months after the last exposition at risk). Whatever, who gives in to a casual affair must always respect the safer sex rules. Use the necessary caution even in case of risk of infection due to the use of drugs intravenously.
Does a risk of infection exist if he doesn’t reach the ejaculation during the unprotected intercourses with penetration?
Yes it can happen. Pre-ejaculation and vaginal secretion can be cause of virus transmission in the intercourses with penetration, probably it is enough the single contact with mucosas. Even not visible with the naked eye mucosas microwounds can provoke a blood exchange and the consequent infection.
Does a risk of infection exist for the woman who let someone stimulate her orally?
No. If woman is seropositive, exists however a concrete risk for the partner during the menstrual period. In fact it is possible to be infected by the menstrual blood which goes in the mouth. The vaginal secretion, contrary to what happens in the intercourses with penetration, doesn’t represent on the contrary a concrete risk in oral intercourses. At least according to present knowledge.
Does a risk of infection exist for the man who let someone stimulate him orally?
No. If man is seropositive, exists however a concrete risk for the partner in case of ejaculation in the mouth. For this reason it is recommendable to reach an agreement with the partner on the signal to use before ejaculation. The drop which comes before ejaculation, on the contrary to what happens during the intercourses with penetration, it doesn’t represent a concrete risk in oral intercourses. At least according to present knowledge.
