Statistics ready, during unprotected sexual vaginal intercourses, women run a bigger risk to contract Hiv than men. A reason more to insist, with male partner, in order to use condom (it can be helpful to have always some with you) or, in alternative, to use Femidom. Still, biological female sex, doesn’t represent a determining risk factor. The factors which on the contrary involve an high risk of infection (as for men as for women) are:
Other Sexually Transmitted Diseases (which can go unnoticed because they aren’t accompanied by symptoms)
The viral charge (in other words the advanced stage of Hiv infection not undergone to treatment) or the primary infection
The anal sexual intercourses
The number of sexual intercourses
The sexual organs diseases which produce damages to the mucous membrane
The coil (only for women)
